family pictures-early Nov 2013

I'm good at getting pictures done of the kids but not so great at family pictures.  But a friend in the ward offered us a good deal so we decided to go ahead and get some updated family pics.
We went to the Riverwoods in Provo.
The leaves were in all their golden glory and it turned out really pretty.

There were a lot of great photos and we had to narrow it down to 20 to keep.  These are the ones we ended up choosing.

Us-
Justin and I just celebrated 10 years last month.  Crazy!
We've had a great time for the last 10 years so I thought I'd jot down some fun facts...
-3 beautiful, healthy, happy kids (our biggest accomplishments, I'd say)
-5 homes in 4 cities
-6 different jobs with 5 different companies, we think (there's a possibility it might be 7 jobs with 6 companies...Justin had a few random jobs that first six months, before he got into the credit union business)
-2 on-our-own vacations (Seattle and Denver), a couple of fun family vacations (Oregon Coast, Louisville, and Disneyland), camping, and a handful of local on-our-own overnighters.

-2 college graduations
-lots of callings (young women, young men's, sunday school teacher, scouting, primary, ward choir, ward clerk, relief society)
-and all the things that come with everyday life!

Molly, 7 years old
-loves The Sound of Music
-is excited that she has her own room and keeps it very spic-and-span clean
-is excited for this year because it's the year she gets baptized
-cannot stay mad at Brynn for longer than 30 seconds

Stockton, 4 years old
-is such a sweet boy but if he gets bored, watch out!!-that's when things start to get destroyed around here
-is going to start Kindergarten this year and I am so not ready for that
-loves superheros and ninjas
-has to have his hot chocolate fix every afternoon

Brynn, 2 years old
-is Stockton's little tag-along
-is starting to love princesses, especially Cinderella
-TV does not hold her attention

-is still pretty attached to me and wants me to hold her a lot
-seems to have given up on naps

We love this little girl.  She is at such a fun age and loves to try to make us laugh!  I really love this photo that the photographer snapped...it wasn't staged or anything but it is just perfect.

Here are some pictures of all three of them.

I'm glad that they are such good friends (most of the time).  They currently like to play freeze dance in Molly's room.

Two more pictures of the fam.

And that's all folks!  We'll see how long until we get more family pics.  Don't hold your breath for it to happen too soon!

Brynn @ 18 months

Yes, you read that right.  Brynn is 18 months old!!  She is so fun to have around the house and I haven't done a post devoted just to her for a while, so I thought it was about time. -She loves books!  She was never really that interested until sometime in the past couple months and now she can't get enough.  Sacrament meeting went from impossible to we can make it through...as long as I pack enough books for her.  This is how I often find her at night or during nap time. -She also loves blankets and towels, although she is not particular about which blanket.  She just wants something soft. She wants to walk around all over with them wrapped around her...they don't stay very well and she gets frustrated.  For that reason, I try to keep her blankets out of sight during the day. They come out when it's time to sleep. -Like my other kids, she loves her warm milk!  Actually, she'll drink it cold too. -She is a quiet one, always has ...

Christmas Advent 2012

Okay, here goes... Day 1: paint clay ornaments When we cut down trees this year there were a bunch of tops already cut down just lying on the ground so we took a couple home...one for Molly and Stockton's room and one for Brynn's room.  When the ornaments were dry I hung them on their little trees. Day 2: watch the Christmas Devotional (And eat Christmas corn!) Day 3: library story time Stockton was pretty nervous to see Santa but I think he was even more scared of not telling him what he wanted for Christmas.  He's smiling but it's a nervous smile!   Brynn had no reaction.   Day 4: Santa face craft   Day 5: Festival of Lights   Day 6: write letters to Santa Stockton: "Captain America" Molly: "an easy bake oven" & "a car for Molly"    Day 7: go shopping for cousin exchange and wrap presents Day 8: North Pole Express with Moyes family           ...
