Brynn @ 18 months

Yes, you read that right.  Brynn is 18 months old!!  She is so fun to have around the house and I haven't done a post devoted just to her for a while, so I thought it was about time.

-She loves books!  She was never really that interested until sometime in the past couple months and now she can't get enough.  Sacrament meeting went from impossible to we can make it through...as long as I pack enough books for her.  This is how I often find her at night or during nap time.
-She also loves blankets and towels, although she is not particular about which blanket.  She just wants something soft. She wants to walk around all over with them wrapped around her...they don't stay very well and she gets frustrated.  For that reason, I try to keep her blankets out of sight during the day. They come out when it's time to sleep.
-Like my other kids, she loves her warm milk!  Actually, she'll drink it cold too.

-She is a quiet one, always has been.  She doesn't talk much.  She says mama, dada, and duck.  She signs milk, and then occasionally mimics the syllables of certain words...blankie, Stocky, etc...

-She is slowly learning animal sounds.  She does a whole bunch now!

-Body parts: she'll point to her toes, head, ears, nose, belly, mouth, and eyes.  She'll also wiggle her fingers when asked.

-She's still a mama's girl and prefers me to anyone.

-After me she loves Molly (Justin's in there too but I'm not sure if he's before or after Molly).  I feel comfortable leaving the kids with someone if Molly's there.  She has a harder time without Molly. (Molly is going to make a terrific babysitter some day...she even does a decent job changing Brynn's {wet} diapers.)
-She's a climber!!
-Her 18-month check-up is this week.  At her 12 month she was about 14 lbs but we're thinking she's in the 16-17 lb range now.  She's still in her baby carseat and some of her shorts this summer were the same ones she wore last summer...size 0-3 or 3-6 months.

-She loves shoes.

-Her hair turned blonde this summer.  It will be fun to see what color it ends up being in a few years.  It's still very thin but easy to be styled into pigtails or whatever.  She is more like a little girl and less like a baby every day.

Here is a video that Justin took last night.  It is a bit long and shaky in some spots (Stockton kept jumping on Justin) but it shows some of Brynn's personality that she usually saves for home.  She knows she has an audience so she is being a big ham.

    1. Molly's in the afternoon. What about Anna? Our mornings are pretty open...we could meet somewhere in the middle.
