Nothing new here, but Brynn's girly-ness is the first thing that comes to mind when I think about her. She loves her high heels so much, loves make-up and lip gloss, loves anything with sequins.
She enjoys her gymnastics class and is so close to getting her back handspring. She can do it on the trampoline and says that her coach only uses 2 fingers when spotting her. If she could let go of her fear and go for it, I know she would get it!
Brynn is the first one up on a weekend morning but my hardest to get up and going on a school morning. Go figure. She is my child who falls asleep the quickest.
Brynn has never had school lunch. She always prefers to take a home-packed lunch. I wouldn't say Brynn is picky-she is just not adventurous enough to try new things all the time. She likes nutella sandwiches (which Justin doesn't consider a lunch but she won't eat peanut butter so I let her) and pizza or nacho lunchables. I never used to buy the kids lunchables for their lunches but they are only $1 at Walmart-throw in a gogurt or some applesauce and I'm good with that! Making lunches in the morning is much easier when it's a lunchable.
Brynn sleeps on her pillow bed every night, unless it is in the wash. It is by far one of the most-used Christmas gifts around our house!
Brynn is so sweet when we are doing Come, Follow Me lessons or FHE. She listens really well and dutifully takes notes in her CFM notebook. She tries so hard to understand what is being taught but she often misses the point just a little. Her explanations or answers are a little off, but they are so, so sweet and I love her for really giving it her best try.
Brynn is our most random and silly child. One specific thing that she does to illustrate this...on our street she will unbuckle, roll down the window, and bark like a dog out the window as loud as she can. She just doesn't care what other people think of her-at least around the people she is most comfortable with.
Despite Brynn being such a girly-girl, her two favorite friends are Corbin Anderson and Austin Larsen. There are girls from her class that I'm sure she plays with at school but she mostly plays with Corbin and mostly requests to invite Austin over. She has also played at Jacob Pearson's house and really enjoyed doing that. It's like she is girly but loves being rough-and-tumble and getting dirty outside. When I took her for her well-check, the doctor approved of the bruises on her legs because it meant that she was getting lots of good outside play. I love both these sides of Brynn!
She weighed 38 pounds and was 44.5 inches tall at her doctor's appointment...with shoes on. Both in the 0 percentile, to no one's surprise.
Brynn loves writing in notebooks and using fun pens.
