This is how Ivy managed to get around before she figured out crawling.
**Ivy update, 12/26
I haven't been very good at keeping up with the updates these last couple of months. Ivy is now 11-months old and doing lots and lots of new things!
-crawls really fast all over
-can climb the stairs but can't go down. She likes to climb up a few, turn around and sit down and bounce up and down and wave.
-she is an adventurous eater and has eaten anything we have given her. Fruit, veggies, meat, breads, pastas, she really doesn't seem to be picky. And she can eat a lot! She will eat as much pb&j or cheese quesadilla that I make for Brynn
-has 4 teeth, two on top and two on bottom. She went through a phase where she would bite a lot when I was nursing but hasn't been doing that lately, thank goodness.
-pulls herself up on anything and can walk along the furniture. Also likes to walk behind a walker or a car or anything she can push.
-can stand independently but is often too scared and will hurry and sit down
-took three steps on her own last weekend (Dec. 19th) but won't even try to do it again. I think it was a fluke.
-has an extensive vocabulary. Jabbers a whole bunch!
-has started sleeping through the night more but still wakes up once usually
-takes two naps each day. Some naps are long and some are short. She has taken the longest to get a set schedule down for her naps (and we are still not completely there!) but it could have something to do with the fact that she is #4 and I don't have the luxury of just staying home all day like I did with Molly and even Stockton.
-will try to mimic the same things we do (like clapping, nodding, waving, growling, sneezing, etc.)
-loves the tub
