New Years Day-
We
were excited that the Browns decided to come to Utah for a short little
visit after Christmas. We got to spend some time with them and the
rest of the Goodrich clan on New Years Day. April had prepared some fun
little minute-it-to-win-it type games.
We gathered for a family picture, which is now already outdated.
The kids in their new Sunday clothes.
Stockton randomly asks me to take his picture. This is the picture he drew for the cat. (ciitey=kitty)
I
was a mom helper in Stockton's class when he earned his math wings.
They also got to play toilet tag with Mr. Pitcher, the principal.
I'm
trying to encourage Molly to be more independent around here so one
morning I put her in charge of bathing Brynn, along with getting her
dressed and combing her hair. She did a pretty good job, although
admits that she needs a little bit of help in the hair department. She
was pretty proud of herself, and rightfully so.
Our
last outing as a family of 5 was to dinner at Applebee's. We don't
take the kids to sit-down restaurants very often but Justin had a gift
card from work and we didn't know when else we would use it. Since it
was a special occasion, we even ordered a dessert to share and the kids
loved that.
The kids must be getting a little bit older and more mature because they actually ate their food and stayed in their seats. It was a successful family outing!
