Day 16: wrap presents for each other (Molly and Stockton wrapped a present for Brynn, Molly and Brynn for Stockton, and Stockton and Brynn for Molly)
I was worried that the kids wouldn't keep the gifts a secret but they did! And it was so fun to see how excited they were for Christmas morning so they could give the gift.
Day 17: paper plate tree garland
We painted paper plates green, cut them into eights, glued pom-poms on them, then strung them on some yarn. Ours was really long...with three plates that made 24 trees!
Day 18: get new Christmas socks
Day 19: Festival of Lights
Brynn really loved the lights, but just as much she loved going wherever she wanted in the car. She is a monkey.
Day 20: decorate sugar cookies
***
Dad wrapped the kids up like a Christmas tree, much to their delight. They giggled and giggled and then had even more fun getting out of it.
Here's a video of Molly's class at the elementary school's Christmas sing-along. It's in two pieces because I'm a dork and stopped recording for one second right in the middle.
And you know you have an awesome Daddy when he makes you a Thor hammer out of a dowel, green floral foam, and duct tape.
