We missed the Brown's this summer but were happy that Lizzy was able to come on her own for a few weeks. Molly really looked forward to her visit. We saw her a few times when the whole family got together but I think Molly was most excited to have her come down to our house for a sleepover. We wanted to do something fun while she was here so we went to the splash fountains here in Spanish Fork. Much different that the splash pad in Springville but my kids have every bit as fun.
I tried to get a picture of the two of them but they were being super silly and covering their faces with their hands. I snapped one mid-laugh. They thought they were so funny and clever!
That night the girls slept downstairs in their sleeping bags and watched Harry Potter.
We were so happy to have Lizzy come visit our house. After dropping Lizzy off with grandma we were driving home and I peeked back at the kids and saw that Molly was looking out the window with tears silently streaming down her cheeks. She was a sad little girl thinking that it would probably be a whole year before she would see Lizzy again. Molly really looks up to her and will call her every couple of weeks to chat. She looks forward to doing this and I'm glad that Lizzy takes the time to be a good friend, despite the age difference.

I've shared this little trick of mine before but this is something that keeps my little kids occupied while I make dinner. Funnels! There is something intriguing to them to pour water from one cup to another. This seriously keeps Brynn or Stockton pretty entertained for quite a while.
That was fun to see pics of Lizzy and Molly. What cute girls. I do wish they had the chance to see each other more often. Their personalities just seem to go together so well. Thanks for having her this summer!
