Bucket List Week 10 was to go fishing. We didn't know where to go but our neighbor had had some luck on Utah Lake so we ended up going there. Unfortunately, we didn't catch anything. That's okay, we still managed to have a great time!
Brynn wasted no time in getting her pants soaking wet. She had to be in just a diaper the rest of the night.
Stockton got bored and wanted to throw rocks in the water. We walked down the shore so we wouldn't scare the fishies away from those who were fishing.
The sunset was really pretty.
Once the sun set, though, we had to get out of there fast! Those gnats are nasty!!
Justin's branch was invited to be in the Heber City Parade the following Saturday evening. He wanted the kids to walk in it so naturally I ended up going with them as well. America First had their giveaway car that Justin had to drive home the night before. The kids thought daddy was getting a new car and they were so excited! Stockton insisted on riding in the car for the parade, even though he was all by himself in there with a complete stranger behind the wheel.
Molly was so excited to throw the goodies to the people watching the parade. I'm sure she felt so grown up.
Brynn just chillin' in the wagon.
Justin has two tellers that can ride unicycles and with him riding his, they had 3 unicyclists in the parade. I don't think anyone else can boast that much talent at one small branch!
Toward the end of the parade, I even got up on his shoulders. It had been a long time since we had tried this little trick of ours but we were still able to pull if off.
We first did that trick 13 years ago! It's good to know we're not too old!
You guys are awesome! We still need to see that trick in person!!
ReplyDeleteLOTS of fun at your house this summer! I love the last two pictures of you and Justin. So good to have moments that make you feel young again. No, good to have moments that remind you that you ARE young still. :-) You should frame the picture of you doing it 13 years ago next to this new one. You have such a fun family!
ReplyDeleteFancy trick! I remember you guys doing that trick back at good old Old Farm! Looks like you guys have really packed in a fun summer!
