We were able to go back to Bear Lake for Raspberry Days. It was a good distraction for Molly because Elise had pulled out just that morning for Texas...I was glad that she was able to go do something fun that took her mind off of all her friends leaving. We got up there just in time for the parade. The parade is not big, just what you'd expect from a small town, but they throw a lot of candy! We did not come prepared with baggies but my moms' and Erins' purses were bursting with all the candy the kids collected!

The next day was spent at the lake. It was beautiful with perfect beach conditions. The water was down a little this year but that was okay with me because the sand was wonderful. Exactly what you'd want for playing in. And we did a lot of playing in the sand!

Because the water was low, there was a little pool of water behind our shade tent and chairs. The water was shallow and warm so that was a fun little place to play as well. Stockton talked Tessa into pulling him around on the kneeboard!
We had a campfire that night and did smores.
We let the kids play on the golf course for a while with some glow sticks before putting them in bed. They really love doing that.
The next day the kids tried their hand at a lemonade stand on the golf course (the cabin is on the 2nd hole). I don't think they earned as much as they have previously when they've tried it, but it was fun anyway. It was such a nice day that they just played outside.

{Bucket List Activity} The kids wanted to have a science day. We did a few different science experiments but the most successful was the traditional vinegar/baking soda trick. Throw in some food coloring and you have some happy kids! It was a little drizzly outside but I wasn't going to do that inside so we used a big umbrella and I just let the kids have at it until we ran out of vinegar.
Brynn stayed out the longest, mixing and stirring and just being happy with the mess!
