My mom takes all the grandkids to pick out a Build-A-Bear when they turn 4, so a few days after Stocky's birthday it was his turn. He had taken a peek inside the store when we had been in the mall a few weeks earlier so he was pretty excited.
He chose a camo bear. He got to choose a sound and a scent and then they stuffed it. After it was stuffed, he got to give it a bath.
Then he chose a few different outfits. The top picks were Spiderman and Superman costumes, and then some regular clothes (shorts and a T-shirt).
He named him Jake but usually refers to him as "Build-A-Bear." He's become a good sleeping companion.
Bucket List Week 5 was to go to Maple Mountain High School to play tennis and run laps around the track. Molly really loves tennis and always wants to play. Maybe someday we'll get her in lessons.
Stockton and Brynn really just had fun running around chasing the balls.
At the track, Molly actually ran a whole mile with me, although it was broken up with rests here and there and some of it was walking. She is kind of turning into a little athlete...her coordination is good and she catches on quick.
Stockton liked jumping over the numbers on the track but fell a few times and scraped his knee. After a little while, he and Brynn discovered the bleachers and had a great time running around those.
All the kids have a pair of cheap sunglasses and I just keep them in the car so they don't get lost. I love it when they get in and put them on. Here they are with Justin all dressed up and ready to head to church.
We have the best neighbors, the Howards. Our garages face each other and our kids get along so well. We are usually able to see them everyday. Here they are taking a break and enjoying some popsicles.

Bucket List Week 6 was to go to a splash pad. Springville has a new one that we've been wanting to try out. I knew my kids would enjoy this activity with friends so we invited a few to come along. The Howards, of course, and Molly invited her friend, Rebecca. I was right...they had much more fun with their friends.

Rebecca was chewing on a dried mango and her tooth fell out. We looked all over on the grass but never found it. Maybe she swallowed it?
Brynn loved where the water went down into the drain.
A great activity for a super hot day!
