My mom wanted to get an updated family picture before Ben left on his mission. Not too hard of a task since we all live close to each other and since the kids are getting older. She thought it would be fun to have them taken on a beach at Bear Lake, a place that means a lot to our family and where we have made so many memories. They found a local photographer that came highly recommended and got permission from some family friends to use their property that goes right down to the lake. We were supposed to have them done over Memorial Day but the weather didn't cooperate so we were able to reschedule for when we were all there for Grandkid Camp. Stockton was so happy to have family pictures on his birthday, ha! It took forever to finally get them back, but they turned out really good so it was worth the wait. Here they are...
Getting a decent picture with 16 kids and 10 adults is no small feat!

It had been 4+ years since we did family photos and 3 years since I had the kids' done so we were way past due. I took advantage of this night and paid a little extra to have just our family and kids done. Nice to put some more current photos in some frames around our home.

I always have been, and continue to be, thankful for this family. How blessed we are to have such a network of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins to support us through any and everything. So glad we are close in proximity but also close in our relationships as well; it is not something that is replaceable.
