At the very end of July, we were able to make it camping. It was a short trip since our schedules were getting tight but we knew we had to just do it or it wasn't going to happen and that would have been sad. The kids love camping and we always try to take them once a summer. We decided to go to Smith and Morehouse Reservoir up by Oakley. We left Sunday afternoon after church. We had time to cook our dinner (tin-foil dinners), check out the reservoir for a bit, pick wildflowers, and have s'mores. We also had to set up camp, of course-always a big job! We still don't have a tent so we were borrowing Gene and April's old one and crossing our fingers that it wouldn't rain since it leaks. Our friends, the Allen's-from our Logan days, came up that night for a couple of hours as well.

Monday went as follows: breakfast at the campground, loading back up (such a pain after only one night), and the rest of the day at the reservoir. It was kind of windy so I didn't go out much-the one time I did, I had a hard time making it back since I was paddling into the wind. Justin had no trouble with it so he took all the kids across the reservoir and they found a trail to explore for a bit. Justin and Molly couldn't leave without jumping in once so they did that right before we left so they could change into dry clothes. It was too cold for the rest of us. We left in the evening when we were starting to get ready for dinner because we wanted to eat at the same pizza place that we ate last year on our camping trip. It's in Kamas and it's yummy!

| Stockton saves this hat for camping only. I smile every time I see him pull it out. |

Wow that lake is beautiful. There is so much of Utah I still need to see.
