(I forgot to lump these photos from Lagoon with the rest of the August post.)
We were able to go to Lagoon for Justin's work party again this year. The best part about the night is that his company reserves the whole park so no one except immediate family members of employees are admitted in. That makes for very short lines, especially in the kiddie area.
Our kids had a blast. We knew Molly would soak it all up, she is such an adventure seeker when it comes to rides. Stockton was our surprise...he really loosened up since last year and was running from ride to ride and giggling the whole time. He tried some new rides this year and even went on the big Tidal Wave and ended up loving it.
Here are the highlights...
Our Molly, with her cousin (once-removed, if we're getting technical) who is also named Molly Goodrich. Her daddy is Justin's cousin, who coincidentally has the same birthday, the same job at the same company, and a wife named Megan. She is 6.
The classic Puff coaster. Stockton loved it!
Brynn's absolute favorite was this whale ride. You might not be able to tell, but she giggled the entire time. Watching her made us giggle too. It was so adorable.
Molly also ventured into the big-kid world with Justin. She rode the newest ride there and I can't remember what it was called, but I remember that I couldn't even bring myself to stay and watch. It looked really scary. But she got off with big smiles. Justin was looking a little green. She also rode the Rocket and Wild Mouse and Colossus. She still loved Bombora and the old white roller coaster.
We had a great time and are hoping AFCU keeps up this tradition!
